Meet Mike & Lauren Crave and their 3 great kids — the heart behind Crave’s Coastal Kitchen & Cocktails
When you step into Crave’s, you’re not just walking into a restaurant — you’re walking into a dream years in the making.
Mike spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry, helping open 15 restaurants across the country and serving as a Managing Director on Disney property for 10 years, where he worked alongside celebrity chefs and mastered the art of hospitality.
But his biggest dream wasn’t about working for someone else — it was to create a family-owned restaurant where his wife and kids could be part of the legacy. As PJ (their daughter) would say, to become “Flagler Famous.”
In November 2021, Mike and Lauren bought the old Martin’s restaurant and moved their family to Flagler Beach the following month. After a full year of renovation, their vision came to life, and in January 2023, they proudly reopened as Crave’s Coastal Kitchen & Cocktails — a warm, coastal-inspired steak and seafood restaurant with a beautiful ocean view.
Lauren wears many hats — she’s a loving wife, devoted mom, autism advocate, talented decorator, and one of Crave’s friendly faces behind the bar and dining room. Together, Mike & Lauren have built something truly special — a place where family, community, and great food come together.
